| Tue 13 - H 18:30 | BLUES FESTIVAL PREMIERE |
The goal of any self-respecting festival is to bring close and not to separate the audience and the artists. So here is a rich appetizer. Words and music. The ingredients which, along with the sounds of the soul, will be the main course of this years’ blues festival “Dal Mississippi al Po”. Luca Crovi presents: Joe R. Lansdale, Ronald Everett Capps & Grayson Capps, James Sallis, Anne Perry Music by : Grayson Capps

| Thu 15 - H 09:30-11:00 | A VALLEY SOAKED IN HISTORY |
In the Trebbia Valley, water and history flow together. Just like one of those old blues. Could there be a better opening for the festival than a meeting with three great historical novel writers and with the music of the soul? Their communicative skills will establish a strong bond with the students from the valley. A meaningful event in a world in which culture is more and more neglected, with Peter Tremayne as the focus, through his passion for the Celtic world which got him to discover the fantastic village of Bobbio on many history books. Gioia Giudici presents: Anne Perry, Ben Pastor, Peter Tremayne Music by: Kasey Lansdale, Francesc Piu, Pablo Leoni |

BLUES SCHOOL |
You cannot teach the blues, you can only feel it. Why a blues lecture, then? In order to understand that the blues is an emotion, a universal state of mind. The African slaves used to express their homesickness for the land they had been pulled away from and that’s how the blues was born. But we all have emotions and that is why Black Music has had such a strong impact on almost every society in the world. Very special teachers will talk about emotions. Who is not particularly keen on going to school, will have second thoughts! Maurizio Matrone and Sergio "Alan D." Altieri present: Joe R. Lansdale & Kasey Lansdale, Ronald Everett Capps & Grayson Capps, James Sallis, Anne Perry, Peter Tremayne, Ben Pastor. Music by: Grayson Capps |

SARDINIA BLUES Who would think that a blues soul nests among the rough moorlands and the ancient nuraghe of Sardinia? The lashing prose of Flavio Soriga and the emotional guitar of Francesco Piu, two true Sardinians, are witness to that. Not to mention Massimo Carlotto, who now lives in Sardinia, almost turning himself into a Sardinian, and who has chosen the blues as his literary flag, his poetic inspiration.
